William (Bill) Garrett, Sr. is a science fiction author, healthcare executive, and entrepreneur whose storytelling is shaped by both scientific training and real-world leadership experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Morgan State University, often referred to as “The National Treasure,” and later completed an MBA in healthcare management. Together, these experiences laid the groundwork for a career rooted in science, innovation, and strategic leadership.

Bill has spent years in senior healthcare leadership, most notably as Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Operations, where he oversaw large and complex programs with clarity, structure, and vision. This background informs his approach to science fiction, allowing him to create stories that feel grounded in possibility while still pushing the boundaries of imagination.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Bill is a devoted Baltimore Ravens fan and an active member of his community. He has served on the boards of several organizations and spent time as a youth football coach and business mentor, experiences that reflect his belief in guidance, teamwork, and service. He and his wife are proud parents of three children.
